The seems to be confusion about what an object database is good for, particularly compared to relational technology. Similarly, many people are asking the question "Where do I start?" when confronted with the myriad options available in Jasmine - the industrial strength object database from CA.

This white paper goes some way towards answering those questions.

The file is an Adobe acrobat PDF file. It is designed mainly for printing, but is quite readable on magnifications above 150% (or "fit Width"). If you are not using A4 paper, use the "Shrink to fit" option on the print dialog.
